We take the risk out of buying a used machine, and because of this, our customers come back to purchase from us time and time again.
Equipment Warranty and Guarantee
Loeb takes great pride in the confidence and trust that our customers have when dealing with us. Our customers realize that having Loeb provide them high quality processing and packaging equipment is one of their biggest strategic advantages.

To ensure that our customers get the quality equipment that they deserve and expect, Loeb offers the following guarantee and warranties on used processing and packaging equipment sold from our stock. Running – The machine is inspected, so the unit is mechanically and electrically cycling. There is a 30-day parts warranty for replacement with new or reconditioned parts, and the buyer has a 10-day Right to Return from the date the equipment is received. The buyer is responsible for all freight charges.
AS-IS – The machine is offered “as is” without parts or labor warranties. However, Loeb does have a 10-day Right to Return (from date received) policy. The buyer is responsible for all freight charges.
Reconditioned – The machine is completely disassembled, and a complete, detailed audit of all its parts is conducted. All nonfunctioning parts are replaced with new or reconditioned parts, and the machine is reassembled and painted. There is a 90-day parts warranty for replacement with new or reconditioned parts. The labor warranty is 90 days at Loeb’s Chicago facility. The buyer is responsible for all freight charges.
Unused – The machine is unused and was never installed. Unused equipment may still be in original crating or on original OEM skids. There is a 30-day parts warranty for replacement with new or reconditioned parts, and the buyer has a 10-day Right to return from the date the equipment is received. The buyer is responsible for all freight charges.
Right to Return Policy
Loeb stands behind the quality of all of the equipment we sell and takes great pride in the trust that our customers place with us.
To ensure our customers complete satisfaction, if a machine purchased from Loeb does not meet your expectations or does not perform as expected, in most situations we offer the following Right to Return options:
10-Day Right to Return
Loeb offers a FREE Right to Return, within 10-calendar days of receipt of machine for a full-refund of the original purchase price.
30-Day Right to Return
Loeb offers a 30-day Right to Return option for a refund of the original purchase price less a 15% restocking fee.
Loeb’s Right to Return period starts upon the receipt of the equipment, not the day the machine is shipped. Call your Account Manager to get the process started. We will email you a Right to Return Authorization form to be completed and sent back.
Because we have so many machines in-bound and out-bound, we can’t accept machinery back without this authorization form. When you receive your authorization code, please ship the machine back that same week to avoid incurring any additional charges.

Please make sure you package and insure your equipment the same way you received it, to insure that no damage is sustained during the transportation back to one of our warehouses. The equipment must be returned to Loeb is the same condition that it was sent from our warehouse. If the item is returned damaged, Loeb reserves the right to reject the machine.
Loeb is responsible for the handling of the equipment once we receive it and the equipment will be test run within 2-4 business days of acceptance to ensure that the item is in the same condition for the next customer.
There are some exceptions where machinery is not available for return, for instance, if Loeb modifies the machine for a customer application or if container handling parts where purchased, these items are not returnable. Please refer to your invoice and contact your Account Manager if you have any questions.
