Howard is president and the fifth generation of the Newman family leadership at Loeb. He has over 18 years of experience in equipment purchases and sales, appraisals, auctions, and liquidations with advanced expertise in the food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and chemical industries. Howard attended the University of Delaware majoring in Business Management. He earned the designation of Senior ASA as administered by the American Society of Appraisers (ASA) as well as being a Certified Equipment Appraiser (CEA) as administered by the Association of Machinery and Equipment Appraisers (AMEA) and is a licensed auctioneer.

As former president of Loeb, Jim continues to lead the efforts of Loeb's financial affiliates as Principal of Loeb Financial Services and Loeb Term Solutions. Having lead the company for over 30 years, he is proud to have been the fourth generation in the family business but is even more proud of his son, Howard, and the job he's doing as the fifth generation. Jim holds a BA in Industrial Management and Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and has previously held professional certifications from the Association of Machinery and Equipment Appraisers (AMEA).

Charles is a fourth generation appraiser and auctioneer. A graduate of the University of Iowa, he holds a Bachelor of the Arts Degree. He is a certified equipment appraiser and currently the President, and board of director, of the Association of Machinery & Equipment Appraisers (AMEA). Additionally, Charles sits on the Board of Directors, and is an Executive Officer, of the Machinery Dealers National Association, and Past Officer and Board of Director of the Industrial Auctioneers Association. Charles is an associate appraiser with the American Society of Appraisers, a member of the Turnaround Management Association and the American Bankruptcy Institute, as well as other state and regional trade associations. He has been an active Board Member on many other private companies and charitable associations.
