Marketing Manager
Loeb is looking to hire a Marketing Manager to assist our fast-paced multi-divisional company in promoting Equipment Sales, Industrial Auctions, Appraisals, & Financing Services. This highly visible role will work with internal and external partners to create and deliver multi-channel marketing programs that support Loeb's brands and business objectives. The marketing manager will develop, implement, and track marketing campaigns to increase awareness, advertise events, and promote the company's services.
The marketing manager must be familiar with developing traditional and digital customer facing marketing strategies, have experience with market research, and the ability to manage budgets. He/she must be able to approach branding work from both a qualitative and quantitative perspective. Excellent communication and project management skills are a must.
Location
Our offices are located near the O'Hare airport and immediately accessible by the #81W CTA bus / 331 Pace bus and within walking distance from the Cumberland Blue Line stop. Our location also offers free onsite parking, with quick access to/from the Kennedy (90).
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage all marketing and communication activities for Loeb's four business divisions: Loeb (Equipment), Loeb Appraisal, Loeb Auctioneers, and Loeb Term Solutions
- Work closely with sales department to develop strategic marketing initiatives centered around constantly revolving used equipment inventory
- Act as in-house advertising agency developing all marketing material including print ad materials, direct mail pieces, online collateral, digital media, brochure material, and trade show graphics
- Act as Website Administrator and Content Manager for e-commerce websites
- Plan and negotiate strategic advertising placement online and in printed trade publications
- Manage all marketing automation for e-mail-based messaging and CRM communications
- Manage media relationships, acting as primary point of contact for all media inquiries
- Coordinate all special events including trade shows and sponsorships
- Oversee all PPC and SEO practices for e-commerce website
- Perform other duties as required and work on special projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field
- 5-8 years progressively responsible experience in all aspects of marketing
- Experience across general marketing process - research, planning, promotion and evaluation
- Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver)
- Intermediate understanding of HTML, website editing, and broadcast email creation
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics and other data metrics and analysis
- Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, and CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 strongly preferred)
- Establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with limited supervision
