Munson Machinery Model 700TH20SS 20 Cu Ft S/S sanitary rotary batch mixer. It gently mixes batches of free-flowing natural ingredients in parts as small as one per million with 100-percent uniformity in less than three minutes, evacuates 100 percent of the batch and can be sanitized rapidly with no tools. The unit is designed with a retractable inlet for rapid, thorough washdown, a stationary discharge and a rotating drum with proprietary mixing flights that tumble, turn and fold material gently, imparting minimal energy to the batch while achieving nearly complete uniformity in two to three minutes, regardless of disparities in the bulk densities, particle sizes or flow characteristics of batch ingredients. The mixer has a useable batch capacity of 20 cu ft, total capacity of 60 cu ft (2.27 cu m) and weight capacity of 3,000 lbs, and is said to be equally effective in blending of batches from 100 down to 5 percent of rated capacity. The unit features internal mixing flights that are spaced for easy access, all-stainless contact surfaces, continuous, polished welds having 0.25 in. (6 mm) radii, external, removable seals and a CIP vessel cleaning nozzle, allowing rapid sanitizing between product changeovers and/or runs of individual ingredients.
