The ALP/4500 is designed for modularity, continuous labeling, self-diagnostics, and ease of use. Modularity of design provides the basis for ease of installation, setup, and maintenance. A central, consolidated operator interface is comprised of a graphics display and keypad, which controls applicator settings. Through the use of the symbol and icon-based menu screens, the operator is able to view several parameters at once, in a meaningful manner. Advanced electronics automatically self-calibrates sensors. Next-generation diagnostics automatically monitors input sensors and output drivers and protects against shorts and overloads. This next-label-out system is capable of high volume industrial applications, providing the highest efficiency through a combination of intelligent electronic sensing and an efficient web path design.
