Ackley Drum Printer, PRINTING CAPABILITIES -Tablets (one or two sides) up to 250,000/hr, Caplets (one or two sides) up to 150,000/hr, Printing rates are a function of the product size, shape, and lubricity. The maximum printing rate will be determined after receipt and evaluation of the product. POWER REQUIREMENTS - 220 VAC, 1 phase, 50/60 Hz, 10 Amps, VACUUM REQUIREMENTS - For each print drum: 90 in. H2O Closed (pockets full) 280 CFM Open (pockets empty) AIR SUPPLY - 80 PSI @ 20 CFM continuous clean dry air CONSTRUCTION - Base frame of solid aluminum. Parts that contact product are constructed from materials that are FDA compliant and are easy to clean. DRUM PRINTER The drum printer offers offset printing for the pharmaceutical and confectionary industries; in addition, it precisely centers the print on tablets, caplets, and capsules. A simplified operator interface has digital display for printer operating conditions. Electronic push-button controls are featured for setup, logo registration and operation. Servo motors with optical encoder feedback for speed and position provide accurate control of printing registration. The drum printer is designed for film- or sugar-coated tablets and caplets . Printing can be one- or two-sided, linear or radial, and nonrectified or rectified. It can be in one or two colors( one color on each side Change parts are designed to be easily removed for a quick change to a different product.
